An evening celebrating Anglo-French music featuring French singer Muriele and the Friary Brass Band. There will be an interval and a Pay Bar serving wine, beer and soft drinks for your refreshment.

The Friary Brass Band is based in Chertsey, Surrey and has firmly established itself as the premier band in the London and Southern Counties region. Muriele is a native French singer in wartime , jazz and retro songs from the 1930's onwards. Every ticket purchase to this event will go towards the St. Mary’s Church, Old Alresford toilet & kitchen servery building project to provide a disabled access toilet and a small kitchen servery at the back of the church. The fundraising started some time ago and has successfully raised a great deal of money, but we still need your help to meet our target.

Newbury Sub-Aqua Club meet at Mary Hare School, Snelsmore Common (2.1 miles)
The Newbury branch of the British Sub Aqua Club celebrated its 21st Anniversary in 2002. We currently have around 80 members.
We meet once a week on Thursdays at the Mary Hare School in Newbury and afterwards migrate to the Fox and Hounds, the nearest pub! Although primarily from the Newbury area, our members travel from as far as Romsey and Bicester.
